How We Work

From brief to live.
No mystery in the middle.

Three clear stages. First we work out what the content needs to achieve. Then we show you the plan and price. Then we shoot, edit and deliver it ready for the places it actually needs to run.

Simple by design

A production process built to keep things moving.

You should know what is being made, what it costs and where it is going before a camera comes out of the bag. That keeps the shoot focused, the edit faster and the final content useful across more than one channel.

01
Scope it out

Tell us what needs to work.

We start with the outcome, not the camera. A short call or written brief gives us the commercial goal, audience, channels, timing and the assets you already have.

  • What you are selling or promoting
  • Who the content needs to reach
  • Website, social, YouTube or paid ads
  • Deliverables, timing and budget range
You leave withA clear scope and recommended approach
02
See the plan

Mockup, creative direction and fixed proposal.

Before production, we show you the direction. Depending on the job that can mean reference frames, a rough storyboard, hook ideas, shot list, content map or example edits.

  • Creative direction and visual references
  • Shot list, script or interview prompts
  • Recommended formats and cutdowns
  • Fixed, itemised proposal before booking
You leave withA plan you can approve before we shoot
03
Make it + go live

Shoot once. Edit for every place it needs to run.

We capture with the edit already in mind, build the master piece, then shape the cutdowns for the channels agreed in the scope. Revisions happen before final delivery.

  • Filming, drone and production where required
  • Human-edited first cut and colour grade
  • Revision rounds built into the scope
  • Final delivery in the agreed platform formats
You leave withFinished content ready to publish or advertise
Typical timeline

Fast enough to move. Planned enough to get it right.

Day 1–2Brief + scope

We clarify the goal, audience, channels and deliverables.

Day 2–5Plan + proposal

Creative direction, shot list and fixed itemised quote.

ProductionShoot day

Half-day or full-day production depending on the scope.

Usually 7–10 daysFirst cut

Review, revisions and final platform-ready delivery.

Rush work is available when a campaign, listing or launch has a hard deadline.

Built beyond launch

One good shoot should do more than one job.

We plan footage so the same production can support discovery, trust, conversion and ongoing content — rather than creating one beautiful file that gets posted once and forgotten.

Common questions

Before we start.

Practical answers to the things clients usually want to know before booking a video production project.

What do you need from me to prepare a quote?

A short brief is enough to start: what you are promoting, who it is for, where the content will run, any deadline and roughly how much content you need. We can help define the rest.

Do I need a finished script before contacting you?

No. We can work from a rough idea, talking points or a clear business objective. For interviews and testimonials, prompts often produce more natural footage than a word-for-word script.

Will I see the creative direction before the shoot?

Yes. The level of pre-production depends on the project, but the scope can include visual references, storyboard frames, hook ideas, a shot list, script, interview prompts and a content map before filming begins.

How much does a video production project cost?

It depends on the shoot time, crew, locations, editing and number of final deliverables. We provide a fixed, itemised proposal before anything is booked, and our Packages page gives starting points for common ongoing work.

How long does video production usually take?

A first cut is commonly ready within seven to ten working days after filming. Larger campaigns can take longer, while rush turnaround can be quoted for launches, listings and time-sensitive campaigns.

How many revisions are included?

The revision allowance is confirmed in the proposal before the job starts. Most projects include two rounds, which is usually enough when the brief and creative direction are agreed before production.

Can you create vertical, square and widescreen versions?

Yes. We can plan the shoot and edit for 9:16 vertical, 1:1 square and 16:9 widescreen outputs so the same production can work across social media, websites, YouTube and paid advertising.

Can you also help publish or advertise the finished videos?

Yes. Depending on the project, we can help with website placement, social content, YouTube, Meta Ads and ongoing content packages. These can be included in the original scope or added as the campaign grows.
