FAQ

The questions we get asked most — about pricing, timelines, drone work and how a shoot actually runs.

What does a video actually cost?

A single video — an intro film, a property listing, a testimonial — typically starts around $900 to $1,500 depending on shoot length and how many cutdowns you need. Monthly content packages start at $1,000. Larger brand films with multiple shoot days sit higher.

Every quote is fixed and itemised before you commit. We do not bill hourly, because that punishes you for a shoot that runs long and rewards us for being slow.

How long until I see the first cut?

Seven to ten working days from the shoot for most projects. Rush delivery inside 48 hours is available at a premium when a campaign date or an open home demands it — say so at the briefing stage so the shoot can be planned around it.

Can you edit footage I already have?

Yes, and it is one of the most common things we are asked for. Phone footage, GoPro, drone files, old shoots that were never finished. Send a sample before booking and we will tell you honestly whether it is workable — sometimes it is not, and it is better to hear that early.

Do I own the video and can I use it in ads?

You own it, and yes. Full usage rights are included with every project, paid advertising included. There is no extra licence fee for running your own video as an ad, which is not true of every production company.

Do you fly drones over private property?

With the owner’s permission and inside the rules for the airspace, yes. Some locations near airports or over crowds need extra approval, which takes time — so mention the address early and we will tell you what is possible before anything is booked.

What formats do I get?

16:9 for websites and YouTube, 9:16 for Reels, Shorts, TikTok and Stories, and 1:1 for feed posts. Each comes captioned and clean. This is standard on every job, not an add-on.

How many revisions are included?

Two rounds on most projects, one round on the Starter package. Notes given by timecode are the fastest way to get what you want — “at 0:14 cut the pause” beats “can it feel snappier”.

How far do you travel?

Central Coast, Newcastle and Sydney with no travel fee. Beyond roughly an hour from Macmasters Beach a travel cost is added to the quote up front, never billed afterwards.

What do I need to do on the shoot day?

Very little. Be there, be yourself, and have the space tidy. We handle the rest. If people on camera are nervous — and most are — we shoot around it. Nobody is expected to perform.

Do you write the script?

Usually, yes. For interview-led pieces there is no script at all — we ask questions and build the story from the answers, which sounds far more natural than someone reading a page.

Still not sure?

Every project is different. Send through what you have in mind and we will tell you honestly what it takes.
